God’s Providence in America’s Founding will examine the historic events surrounding the landing, dedication, and permanent settlement of this land. The story begins, though, with the people and the vision of the grand-founders, many years before the landing at Cape Henry, on April 26, and dedication service on April 20, 1607. Our grand-founders, men like Richard Hakluyt and others, were people who were influenced greatly by the English Protestant Reformation.
