This nine session course addresses us how the U.S.
Constitution is rooted in Biblical truth.
The Bible was one of America’s chief political textbooks, used by
colonial pastors to teach both the principles of good government and God’s
expectations of elected representatives. As a political textbook, the Bible
joined the works of Baron Montesquieu, Emmerich Vattel, Hugo Grotius, John
Locke, William Blackstone, and others. Scripture was frequently drawn upon to
reinforce political debate throughout the thirteen states, including during the
Constitutional Convention of 1787.
Speakers include Dr. Max
Lyons, Gary Porter, Dr. Mike Myers, Dan Wolf, Dr. Carole Adams, Kim Bebb, John
Eidsmoe, Pastor David Whitney, James R. Wallis and others. Included are mp4
recorded lectures, copies of PowerPoint slides and handouts.
